Alec McNayr is the co-creator of My Roommate the Cylon (including writing, directing, marketing, and producing duties).

Alec is the co-founder of Space Shank Media, the production company behind My Roommate the Cylon, and under that banner, has produced the award-winning web comedy Flipper Nation, the popular writer’s strike spoof Hollywood Rumble, and two projects in development at ABC.

As a producer, web designer, and social media marketing consultant, Alec designed the web site for Mann Theatres (including the world-famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood), produced videos for Pepperdine University and Rovion web video services.

He is also the “Chief Twitterstorian” at satirical Twitter-themed web site Historical Tweets, which boasted over 150,000 page views in January 2009.  (One of his favorites: the Abraham Lincoln one)

Alec has a B.S. in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and lives with his wife in Los Angeles, CA.
