Robert Gustafson is the co-creator of My Roommate the Cylon (including writing, directing, and producing duties).

He is currently producing on American Idol, Season 8, after two seasons at American Idol Extra on the FOX Reality channel.

Robert is the co-founder of Space Shank Media, the production company behind My Roommate the Cylon, and under that banner, has produced the award-winning web comedy Flipper Nation, the popular writer’s strike spoof Hollywood Rumble, and two projects in development at ABC.

He has also served as Director of Development for Chameleon Entertainment (producing reality shows for MTV and The Style Network), and has worked in the Alternative Packaging Department at the Paradigm Talent Agency.

Robert holds a BA in Film and Television from Boston University, and has produced a handful of behind-the-scenes featurettes, short films, and independent television pilots.
